LG OLED GX9 UltraGear brings epic curved gaming

LG Electronics launched three UltraGear OLED GX9 monitors on April 3, 2025. The lineup features 45-inch, 39-inch, and 34-inch screens with curved displays for better gaming. These monitors come with 21:9 aspect ratios and 800R curves that wrap around users. They show clear images at 3440×1440 resolution with a fast 240Hz refresh rate, perfect for action games.

The screens shine bright, with 275 nits standard brightness and up to 1300 nits during HDR content. They support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 for deep blacks and vivid colors across 98.5% of the DCI-P3 range. Games look smooth thanks to the super quick 0.03ms response time, which eliminates blur from fast movements.

Each monitor runs webOS 24, just like LG smart TVs. Users can stream directly from NVIDIA GeForce NOW or Amazon Luna without extra devices. The monitors work with both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies to prevent screen tearing. Prices start at $1,399 for the smallest 34-inch model, $1,599 for the mid-size 39-inch version, and $1,699 for the largest 45-inch display.
