Russian-made Voyah Free hybrid cars have arrived in St. Petersburg stores. A factory in Lipetsk started building these crossovers early this year, and car expert Denis Gavrilov shared this news with local paper Vecherka. The same factory also makes Evolute hybrids, electric cars, and Voyah Dream minivans.
Three Voyah Free vehicles were registered in the city last month. These new models represented 85% of all Voyah sales during the first three months. Buyers can save money when purchasing these cars because the government offers a 35% discount on hybrids and electric vehicles for 2025.
The Lipetsk plant helps Russia create more vehicles locally instead of importing them. Hybrid cars combine regular engines with electric power for better fuel efficiency. Based on early sales numbers, St. Petersburg residents seem interested in these new transportation options.
