It's a new year already and are y'all oans optimistic both Zim Hip Hop and Zimdancehall 2020 songs will highlight a further improvement in Zimbabwe's music industry regardless of economic hardships?

Being optimistic is a good thing. But to be honest some Zimdancehall 2019 songs were so repetitive.

They say if it ain't broke don't fix. So maybe that's why some Zimdancehall artists take an approach of churning out similar material until the wave runs its course.

There are creative Zimdancehall artists and Zim Hip Hop rappers then there are destructive artists.

As a result, the problem you end up having is destructive artists (or clout chasers) make everything become so saturated quickly because they just copy from those who are ahead of the curve.

I don't want to be a pessimistic person but when you are off on a start like this where basic Zim Hip Hop rappers like Mudiwa Hood proclaim they will run the show you know the circus has already opened too early in 2020...🤡🤡🤡

I just don't know what to say. 🙄

Is he slow? Maybe he hasn't got the memo he ain't ahead of the curve as much as he likes to think.

Furthermore, nothing is cringeworthy when Mudiwa Hood continues to blow his own trumpet thinking he is the best thing that ever happened in the history of Zim Hip Hop music. 💀
