About 34 percent of users wait until their battery reaches 20 percent before charging. Some brave souls (13 percent) let their phones drain below 10 percent before panicking. Nearly a quarter of Americans top up their phones before reaching 50 percent, which helps maintain battery health for longer device life. Around 39 percent of people decide to charge based on battery bars, but 61 percent rely on exact percentage numbers shown on the screen.
