Afenyo Markin calls for merit over party politics

Alexander Afenyo-Markin wants Ghana to focus on skills rather than political parties when creating chances for young people. The Minority Leader talked about this at the Kwahu Business Forum on April 19. He worries that youth programs have become all about politics. He believes talent, creativity, and hard work should matter more than which party someone supports.

Building the country based on political favorites can stop new ideas from growing. Fair chances for everyone help the nation grow stronger. The Minority Leader said Ghana must make progress through competition based on who deserves opportunities. People should have equal chances, no matter which political group they belong to. This approach creates better results for everyone.

The Kwahu Business Forum brings together government officials, business owners, and money backers to discuss ways to improve the economy. These discussions help private companies across Ghana and other African nations. The forum serves as an important meeting place for people interested in economic growth.
