Malema blasted MySol over North West mining wealth

Julius Malema publicly mocked mining businessman Solomon Soka Madibela, better known as MySol, at an EFF campaign rally in Madibeng. Party fans met at Letlhabile Stadium ahead of an election. Malema had one main point. Mine cash should help regular South Africans, not just a rich few.

Then came the personal jabs. MySol got a crude insult, and Malema called him a boy. The EFF chief made it clear that rich men did not scare him. Even those who love to show off their cash. He had no patience for that.

But his pitch went beyond one rich guy. More people should get mine jobs and a fair shot at earning from the trade. Family ties should not give anyone an edge. Nor should threats or force play a part in who gets hired.

And the talk got quite direct about Rustenburg and Madibeng. Malema warned rich people not to use their cash to scare or bully locals. He said no amount of wealth gave anyone the right to treat those who live there with contempt.

For context, Madibela has also made an appearance on Podcast and Chill. His work in the mining trade had drawn public interest well before this clash.
