Erica Synths has expanded its audio gear lineup by introducing the Echolocator, a desktop effects processor developed alongside 112db.com. This new device offers seriously detailed delay effects in a performance-friendly design.
Musicians will appreciate the Echolocator's large top-panel controls that make shaping sound feel almost intuitive. The stereo delay algorithm lets performers craft incredibly precise audio landscapes. Beyond basic delay, the unit packs additional tricks like onboard filtering, modulation capabilities, reverb, and pitch-shifting functions.
Connectivity is robust, with four quarter-inch TRS audio sockets and a dedicated footswitch input. MIDI lovers will dig the two five-pin DIN connectors, which let users control every parameter via CC messages. A handy USB port enables preset export to computers, with 30 factory presets and room for 70 user-created patches.
Powered by an external 12V DC supply, the Echolocator represents a serious tool for sound designers and live performers. Electronic musicians can snag this powerful effects processor for €490, with shipping scheduled to kick off on March 20, 2025. Erica Synths continues to prove they're serious about pushing creative audio boundaries.
