mfkne introduced free Tonebleed and Grainwash VST3 effects

mfkne dropped Tonebleed and Grainwash as VST3 effects for Mac and Windows. Tonebleed multiplies incoming audio ahead of its fuzz stage, letting chords hit distortion as layered material. BLEED creates drifting voices and octave-shifted grains, while FUZZ uses dual pedal stages that get darker under heavier drive.

GRAIN slices Tonebleed into host-linked chunks spanning 1/8 to 1/64 notes. AGE brings tape wear through saturation, flutter, wow, and head loss. Setting every knob to zero keeps the source intact apart from 52 samples of declared delay.

Grainwash joins delay, reverb, and rhythmic octave shimmer. SPACE handles room length and multitaps, SHIMMER adds pitched grains and resonance, GRAIN chooses slice duration, and WASH adjusts tape speed, wet volume, and stereo spread. Its dry path stays clean across most settings, with zero reported latency. Rhythmic shimmer needs transport playback.

And yep, both cost nothing. Mac builds support Intel and Apple Silicon, while Windows uses 64-bit versions. Code signatures are absent, with mfkne supplying a Terminal command to clear macOS quarantine.
