MMA2 vows tighter security, says no item lost

The company managing operations at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two reaffirmed its focus on protecting travelers and their property during a transportation conference held in Lagos. Acting Chief Operating Officer Remi Jibodu outlined advanced monitoring systems deployed throughout the facility while addressing participants at the gathering.

Jibodu described passenger well-being as the highest priority for the terminal and noted that establishing trust requires maintaining secure conditions. He cited examples where surveillance footage helped locate items left behind by travelers, with all requests resulting in successful recoveries. The terminal maintains continuous video monitoring alongside trained personnel and partnerships with police agencies to ensure effective protection measures.

The executive also serves as Head of Aeronautics and Cargo Services for Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited. He stated that management continues upgrading security protocols to maintain traveler confidence and deliver safe passage through the airport. Fola Tinubu from Primero Transport Services Limited chaired the summit, which brought together specialists to discuss integrated transportation systems and strategies for advancing sector sustainability through technological advancement, commercial investment, and coordinated institutional efforts.
