Nairobi hosts World Chambers Summit to boost African growth

Nairobi plans to welcome global leaders to the World Chambers Forum Africa Summit 2025, which will be held at the Kenya International Convention Centre from April 9 to 11. The World Chambers Federation and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce will host discussions about working together on issues that affect economies worldwide. They chose the theme "Africa's Global Future: Integrated, Innovative, and Sustainable" for this important gathering.

The summit aims to help regional teamwork, support sustainable business methods, and create investment chances across Africa. People attending will talk about increasing trade between countries, moving forward with the African Continental Free Trade Area, and building partnerships around the world. Visitors from more than 70 countries will join the event, including 500 small businesses, over 300 business creators, African presidents, government workers, and investors from many nations.

Everyone hopes to encourage fair growth by creating partnerships, sharing what works well, and showing how Africa stands ready for international business. John Denton from the International Chamber of Commerce said this marks the first time Africa has hosted this summit. He called it a unique chance to bring leaders together to discuss key economic issues. Denton believes the meetings will lead to real progress with lasting benefits.

The event should bring big value through foreign investments, possibly attracting over one billion shillings through new business deals. Kenya can highlight its tourism industry during the summit, using Nairobi as a starting point for people wanting to explore African culture and business. The event also helps 500 small companies connect with global markets, funding options, and business guidance. Erick Rutto from KNCCI described the summit as a defining moment for Africa to take its place as a global trade leader.
