Drug abuse, prostitution, and other bad behaviors have spread through the Muna camp for displaced people, NEMA officials warned. The camp houses more than 48,000 people who fled violence in Borno State. North-East leader Abdullahi Sirajo shared these worries during a meeting with camp residents on Wednesday. He asked parents and community heads to work with government officials to stop these problems among young people.

Located outside Maiduguri, Muna camp holds about 9,400 families from the Mafa and Dikwa areas who left because of fighting.
