The Ministry of Electronics and IT announced Wednesday that its new NIELIT Digital University platform will launch Thursday with programs focused on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and data science. Government funding for NIELIT exceeded 493 crore rupees since 2020-21, with the largest allocation of about 153 crore rupees coming in 2024-25. The event will feature industry partnership agreements to strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and businesses.
