Nightclub in Kampala closes after mystery death

Mezzo Noir nightclub in Kampala just closed its doors for a bit after Martha, identified only by her first name, died there Wednesday night. The mystery started when Martha passed out in the office of Eddie, whose sister Grace runs the place. Eddie rushed outside, asking friends for help. They drove Martha to a nearby hospital fast, but doctors said she had already died when they checked her.

Cops have started looking into whether someone slipped Martha's drugs before she fell. The club posted a notice online saying they had to close because something came up. They promised to let people know later when they might reopen. Club managers said they felt sorry for any problems this caused their customers.
