Pulsar Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition hits retail

A gaming mouse with a palm fan sounds like meme hardware, yet this one means business. Pulsar and Noctua’s Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition has reached retail over a year after its reveal. Beneath its vented carbon-composite frame, a Noctua NF-A4x10 5V PWM fan sends quiet airflow toward the hand, aiming to curb sweat during marathon sessions.

The fan wakes with movement, sleeps at rest, and offers five speeds through physical buttons or a web driver. Noctua’s brown-and-beige palette skips the usual RGB circus. Even with cooling onboard, the mouse sits at 73 grams, swapping its predecessor’s magnesium body for a vented carbon-composite exoskeleton.

Competitive chops come from Pulsar’s XS-2 optical sensor, topping out at 42,000 DPI, alongside an 8,000 Hz polling ceiling. Wireless play handles desk freedom, while USB-C covers charging and cabled use. Automatic fan behavior helps protect battery life, and low acoustic output keeps the cooling gimmick from becoming an ear-tax side quest.
