Speaking at the Second Annual National Construction Summit in Gauteng, Ramaphosa highlighted recent labor data showing the industry generated 130,000 new jobs in one quarter. He emphasized that infrastructure development serves as a foundation for opportunity and a driver for social transformation. To support this, the government is shifting budgetary expenditure toward capital investment and has introduced regulatory changes to attract greater private sector participation.
