Ruto prays for unity at Narok Easter service

President Ruto went to the Easter Sunday church at Ntulele in Narok County. Local leaders came with him to celebrate Jesus's resurrection three days after his execution. Easter services involve worship, singing praises, and reading Scripture. The president recently asked churches to help him unite Kenya as part of his plan to expand the government. He needs their prayers for national unity.

He wants churches to pray for peace among Kenyans so everyone can focus on development goals. Ruto mentioned he needs divine help to succeed in bringing people together. He created a broader National Executive team that includes previously excluded groups. This united approach aims to create better conditions for development that help all citizens.

The president spoke at the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa Holy Oil event at St Nicholas Church in Meru County last Thursday. Deputy President Kindiki and Governor Mutuma joined him. Several religious leaders attended, such as Archbishop Muthuri, Archbishop Wang'ombe, and Archbishop Njuguna. Ruto believes prayer can help Kenya reach its full potential through unity.
