Ruto Vows No Mercy For Coast Land Grabbers

President Ruto wants to fix land problems at the coast. He promised to help people who live on land they do not own, as these people need their own land.

President Ruto said his team will buy land from owners who stay far away and give it to people who need homes. Many people on the coast have lived for years without owning their land.

The President warned that some bad people have started moving onto lands after hearing about his plan. "We will not allow anyone to take land that belongs to other people," he said. The government already knows which lands it wants to buy first.

President Ruto told police and land workers to make sure only real people in need receive help. "No Kenyan can take property from others. The police must protect private and public property," he said. During his visit, President Ruto gave out 6,200 land papers to people in Kwale County.

The government saved 1.5 billion shillings to buy land for people without homes on the coast. President Ruto traveled to the coastal area with Deputy President Kindiki and other important leaders. They plan to stay there for one week.
