Spotify adds setlists and share cards to Reserved

Spotify Reserved is getting three fresh fan features built around concert tickets. Selected listeners can share personalized cards before buying, then receive another after checkout. Ticket holders also get setlist playlists through setlist.fm, while one app page gathers cards, venue info, event details, past shows, and concert playlists.

Before each gig, playlists use songs already played on the tour. Afterward, the page switches to tracks performed at that event. And recent Reserved offers have featured Role Model, Miley, Skillet, beabadoobee, Jonas Brothers, Brett Eldredge, John Summit, Young Thug, and Metallica.

Reserved operates for Premium users in the US and Canada, costs nothing beyond the subscription, and requires users to be 18 or older. Spotify picks highly engaged fans through activity such as streams, saves, and shares, with Ticketmaster handling purchases under its Live Nation deal.

Spotify says its concert work has generated more than USD $1.5 billion in artist ticket sales across over 40 ticketing partners. Its top 2% of monthly artist listeners account for 50% of ticket sales through the platform.
