St Petersburg Paychecks Up 3K but Still Snubbed From Top Ten

St. Petersburg workers earn more money than before. The average salary reached 85,800 rubles per month according to hh.ru research. City wages grew 3,000 rubles since January started. Moscow and Yakutia still pay workers better than the northern capital. St. Petersburg ranks 11th among all Russian cities for worker pay.

Data scientists saw the biggest salary jumps. These computer experts gained 120,000 rubles and earn up to 250,000 monthly. Marketing directors also received 50,000 ruble raises. Legal department heads got similar pay increases to 190,000 rubles. Strategy consultants added 27,000 rubles to their paychecks.

Blue collar workers also earned more money this year. Auto mechanics gained 11,300 rubles and make 132,000 monthly. Package workers received 10,400 ruble increases. Livestock specialists added 10,000 rubles to their wages. Electronic engineers saw 9,400 ruble salary growth.

Moscow workers still earn the most at 103,000 rubles monthly. Yakutia pays 87,900 rubles on average to employees. St. Petersburg falls behind these regions despite recent wage growth. The city ranks 43rd across Russia for income increases since January. Worker salaries continue rising across different job categories.
