Sudanese Army Continues Advance in Khartoum Bahri.
The Sudanese army has made more gains in central and southern Khartoum Bahri, a city north of the capital.
The army took back the Khartoum oil refinery in the north a few days ago. They also ended the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) blockade of the Signal Corps headquarters in the south.
Soldiers shared videos of the army securing several areas. These include the Qatar Diyar Towers and the entrance to the Mak Nimr Bridge from Khartoum Bahri, which connects Khartoum Bahri to Khartoum.
On Wednesday, the army said its troops were moving towards key sites in Khartoum Bahri. They worked with the Central Reserve Police.
Soldiers also shared images from the Khartoum Bahri headquarters. It is close to the historic Hillet Hamad area.
RSF fighters have been forced back to southwestern Khartoum Bahri. They are mainly in Hillet Hamad, including the Friendship Palace Hotel, which the army does not yet control. The hotel is near Tuti Island and faces the Republican Palace.
RSF units still hold positions in the Kafouri area in eastern Khartoum Bahri.
An army spokesperson said on Saturday that operations continue to remove RSF forces from their last strongholds in Khartoum Bahri.
On Wednesday, the army expanded its control to the al-Danaqla area in central Khartoum Bahri. Soldiers and allied forces shared videos of their presence there.
The army is also advancing in the Saad Qashra market and the al-Dayoum area.
On Tuesday, the army secured several important locations, including police towers, al-Zarqa towers, the al-Muassasah intersection, and the paratroopers' headquarters. The RSF had used the paratroopers' headquarters as a medical base.
The army's recent successes follow major advances made the previous Friday. That day, the military said it had broken the siege on the Signal Corps headquarters, regained control of the army's general command headquarters, and forced RSF fighters out of the Khartoum oil refinery.
Fighting continues in some parts of Khartoum Bahri. The situation is still changing.
