TDC eyes land deals tied to Ofori Atta family

During their internal review, TDC managers found that many land plots went to people linked with the Ofori-Atta family. The company discovered these sales happened when Alice Abena Ofori-Atta ran things as Managing Director. The current boss, Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, told reporters at TDC headquarters on Thursday that hard evidence backs up these claims about Community 24 properties.

Nunekpeku made clear their investigation will continue unless stopped directly from above. "The only thing that can stop it will be probably the sector minister or the President," he declared. He questioned why one family grabbed such large amounts of land throughout the area. Records show that for every ten plots in layer T, two or three belong to an Ofori-Atta relative.

The Managing Director expressed frustration about this concentration of ownership among his predecessor's relatives. He demanded accountability for these suspicious transactions that favored just one family. "These are facts; nobody can change them," Nunekpeku stated firmly during the press event. The company promises a complete land audit to examine all irregular sales during previous management periods.
