Titanfall 3 in the works with extra game modes

Respawn hasn't officially announced Titanfall 3 yet, but insiders claim it runs on Unreal Engine 5 with several play options beyond its main Extraction mode. Popular Apex Legends leaker Osvaldatore shared fresh details earlier today about the game. Players can expect a single-player campaign plus multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Control, Arenas, and all the classic modes from Titanfall 2. The game brings back familiar faces from Apex Legends and adds dynamic weather systems throughout its world.

The game will use a live service approach for multiplayer with Battle Passes, which makes sense for modern online shooters. Osvaldatore didn't mention a release date, though development seems almost finished, suggesting the launch might happen fairly soon. Fans have heard Titanfall 3 rumors many times since the second game came out, but nothing ever appeared, making people think the series had ended for good.

Hope returned last week when both Osvaldatore and another respected leaker named Yorotsuki confirmed the game actually exists. According to Yorotsuki, Respawn plans to reveal Titanfall 3 at The Game Awards 2025 show later this year. Fans hope they won't need to wait that long to learn if their beloved series continues. The combination of campaign gameplay plus numerous multiplayer options suggests Respawn wants to create a complete package that satisfies both single-player and competitive gamers.
