Tommy Robinson's patriots rough up some London police, Musk cheers

Violence erupted during a London demonstration led by far-right activist Tommy Robinson when his supporters clashed with police officers. Twenty-six officers sustained injuries while authorities made twenty-five arrests during the confrontation. Security forces deployed riot shields and protective gear after protesters threw bottles and physically attacked law enforcement personnel. Four officers required medical treatment for severe injuries affecting their teeth, head, nose, and spine. The Metropolitan Police reported that trouble began when demonstrators attempted to breach barriers separating them from opposing protesters organized by Stand Up to Racism.

Authorities estimated attendance between 110,000 and 150,000 participants, marking one of Britain's largest right-wing gatherings in recent years. Robinson, born Stephen Yaxley-Lennon and founder of the English Defence League, promoted the event as the Unite the Kingdom march. Billionaire Elon Musk delivered remarks through video transmission, encouraging political transformation while claiming British citizens fear expressing opinions freely. Police deployed more than 1,600 officers throughout London to manage the demonstration alongside other scheduled events. Investigators continue examining the violent incidents.
