Toosii commits to Syracuse football, chasing childhood dream and a new legacy

Toosii just locked in a spot with Syracuse football for their 2026 class, and the multi-platinum rapper is trading studio time for practice reps at age 25. The guy was born in Syracuse before moving to North Carolina as a kid, and he said Coach Fran Brown reaching out felt like divine timing. He spent the summer training at NC State and posting clips of himself running routes while announcing plans to be the first charting artist to suit up for Division I ball.

The move gives him four years of college eligibility to chase a childhood dream while his music career sits on pause. Syracuse coaches are treating this like a massive recruiting flex and a feel-good homecoming story rolled into one, and Toosii is framing the whole thing as proof that anyone can make their dreams happen if they commit hard enough.
