UDO Audio detailed its expandable DMNO ON desktop synth

UDO Audio has a new desktop synth called DMNO ON on the way, and users can add more controls to it. The synth keeps all eight voices from the keyboard DMNO and lets two timbres play at once. This new range goes by ON System, with a small main unit and a choice of extra panels.

The base unit has knobs for oscillators, filters, modulation, and envelopes. There's a mixer, an arp, and a sequencer as well. And all eight Play Modes stay intact. Each one changes how the two sounds work, with options to stack layers or split them across the keys.

ONM-1 Synth Control is for users who want direct access to both sound layers. Its dual panels bring back the layout of the keyboard DMNO. Then there's ONM-2 FX Control, which adds physical knobs for send effects, insert effects, and three-band EQ. Those settings had been stuck in the main screen menus.

Both add-ons hook up through D-Sub cables, and the desktop synth feeds them power. No spare power bricks needed. ONM-1 is due to ship with the main unit, while ONM-2 will arrive later. UDO Audio has further modules planned, though details on those are still scarce.
