More than 40 coffee-producing nations gathered at the 2025 Specialty Coffee Association of Japan exhibition, with Uganda participating to strengthen its presence in this major consuming market. The Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Centre hosted the three-day event that began Wednesday. Ugandan companies Bugisu Cooperative Union, Mountain Harvest and Just Know Your Coffee displayed their products alongside Japanese importers Crystal Coffee and Gorilla Highland Coffee. Uganda's agriculture ministry presented an 80-minute educational session featuring the nation's Arabica and Robusta beans.
