UJAM's new Beatmaker GLOOM is a drum machine afraid of drums

UJAM launches GLOOM as the newest Beatmaker series instrument targeting ambient and minimal music producers. The software emphasizes atmospheric texture over percussive impact through organic clicks, pulses, and evolving tones. Producers gain access to subtle rhythmic foundations that integrate seamlessly beneath harmonic content rather than dominating mixes. The platform operates within the updated Beatmaker 3 environment for enhanced workflow integration. GLOOM serves electronic, cinematic, pop, and hip-hop genres, requiring textural rhythm elements.

The instrument features ten distinctive drum kits, each containing sixteen instruments, alongside twenty performance styles. Users access 460 MIDI loops designed for immediate creative inspiration across various ambient applications. Twelve specialized mix modes enable producers to sculpt spatial characteristics from minimal to fully atmospheric presentations. Seventeen ambience and reverb options provide additional depth control for enhanced sonic environments. The software offers 75 global presets as instant project starting points for rapid production workflows.

UJAM prices GLOOM at different rates for various customer categories. New purchasers pay $39 during the introductory period before standard pricing reaches $49. Existing customers receive loyalty discounts, reducing costs to $29 for the complete package.
