The military boss demanded his female fighters stay sharp and protect their bases from enemy attacks.

Operation Silent Storm recently smashed terrorist strongholds in Lower Shabelle as joint forces liberated key territories from Al-Shabaab control. Major Jacob Gowan Kaburika told the assembled troops that regular phone calls home would boost their fighting spirit during long deployments. The administrative officer explained that family connections help soldiers cope with the stress of combat operations. Major Teopista Opar Giramia warned her colleagues that mental and physical fitness directly impacts their battlefield performance.
