Young Soccer Stars Set to Shine in Bulawayo Tournament

The city of Bulawayo comes alive today as young soccer players gather at Mzilikazi Primary School. The Tshisa 18 Festival Under-17 Tournament brings together the best youth talent from across the region.

Teams like Mzilikazi, Makokoba, and New Jack City will battle for the top spot. Each squad arrives ready to prove their worth on the field. Their players dream of catching the eye of watching scouts and coaches.

The event has helped many players start great careers in soccer. It gives young athletes a chance to learn and grow together. Players make friends and build team spirit that lasts long after the games end.

Tournament leader Johannes "Tshisa" Ngodzo sees great promise in this year's players. He believes the event shows off the bright future of soccer in Zimbabwe.

Local business owners made the tournament happen. Nhlanhla Nkomo from City Shebeen Entertainment Center pitched in. Irvine Khumalo and Daniel 'DK' Kabaya, who work in freight services, helped fund it. Foster Maseko and Thabo Dube sent support from South Africa.
