Harare leaders of Zanu PF want businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei to join the party's Central Committee. The local branch held a meeting today at the party offices to discuss adding him. Godwills Masimirembwa runs the Harare group and told everyone about plans for Tagwirei during their Provincial Coordinating Committee talk.
Masimirembwa explained that Tagwirei already belongs to the party in Harare. He called him a smart business thinker and forward-looking leader. The entire group agreed, without any objections, to push for Tagwirei. They plan to send their request directly to Obert Mpofu, the national party's secretary-general.
Youth leader Emmanuel Mahachi strongly backed the idea. He mentioned how Tagwirei helps find money and resources whenever the party needs them. Masimirembwa described Tagwirei as valuable to the entire Harare area. The committee felt his business skills would benefit them greatly.
Mahachi said Tagwirei always shows up when the party faces challenges. He believes Tagwirei's advice will help the organization grow stronger. The youth section completely supports adding him to the Central Committee. Every local member voted yes on recommending him for the position.
