Zimbabwe Leader Takes Month-Long Break

President Mnangagwa starts his yearly rest on Tuesday. He plans to stay inside Zimbabwe during his time off.

George Charamba from the President's office shared the news. He said Mnangagwa would step away from daily work but stand ready if big matters needed his touch. This matters since he leads both Zimbabwe and a group of nations in southern Africa.

When the president rests, two leaders will run things. Kembo Mohadi will take charge from December 31 to January 19, and then Constantino Chiwenga will step in until early February.

The plan keeps the government working smoothly. When the president steps back for his break, each person knows what to do.

Mnangagwa heads off as Zimbabwe pushes for better business and closer ties with nearby lands. His rest shows how leaders can pass the torch when they need time away.

The clear schedule lets everyone know who leads when helping to keep the country steady through the new year.
