Zimbabwe Youth Fund lights up the future

Harare buzzed with excitement today as President Mnangagwa kicked off the Youth Empowerment Fund. This big step brightens the future for young people across Zimbabwe. Everyone felt the energy at the Harare International Conference Centre, where the theme was "Fuel the Youth, Ignite the Future." Young folks from all ten provinces showed up, proving how much the government wants to back its next generation.

President Mnangagwa walked around checking out projects run by young people. He saw ten cars meant for Zanu PF youth leaders plus equipment from the Presidential Mining and Farm Mechanisation Programme. These show how the government helps young people make money and boost the national economy. The President clearly wants youth involved in building the country.

Dr. Paul Tungwarara, who helps run this program, praised how the President creates chances for all young Zimbabweans, no matter where they live. This fund fits with plans to make Zimbabwe an upper-middle-income country by 2030. Dr. Tungwarara talked about the President keeping his word, saying they delivered bicycles and drilled wells as promised. He believes this shows the President really understands what young people need.

Youth Minister Tino Machakaire thanked the President for always backing young people. He mentioned how the President helps transform their lives through smart programs. The Zanu PF National Youth Secretary explained how the Youth League will team up with partners to manage this fund. They want to support good projects picked by local committees that focus on leadership and new business ideas.

The plan includes ways to check progress and ensure everything keeps working years from today. President Mnangagwa has already started many youth programs, like training centers and small business help. He also gives out farming and mining tools to help young people start working for themselves. Everyone at the launch felt hopeful about what comes next for young Zimbabweans.

Minister Machakaire put it simply - exciting times lie ahead as young Zimbabweans start their journey toward success and better living. Many important people came to watch, including Vice Presidents Dr. Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi. Cabinet Ministers and Zanu PF leaders joined countless young Zimbabweans from every corner of the country, making this event truly special.
