Should spend money on a high end Graphics card (GPU) for your DAW? The simple answer is NO. You don’t really need to go overboard with a Graphics card for your DAW setup.
In fact you are pretty much fine with the Graphics card which comes with your pre-built computer. However CPU is very important for a faster workflow and that’s were you should spend most of your money.
The main reason why Graphics card are not really suitable in the music production environment is because of the latency they would introduce as opposed to a CPU.
But if you are also planning on using multiple monitors and playing the latest video games on your machine then obviously you definitely need a high-end Graphics card.
