Universal Audio has expanded its Ocean Way Studios plugin with a deluxe edition that adds console emulations, dynamic processors and reverb chambers to the virtual recreation of the historic Los Angeles recording facility. The software uses Dynamic Room Modeling technology to simulate the acoustic properties of Studio A and Studio B, where artists such as Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Radiohead and Beck recorded material.
The enhanced version incorporates models of equipment from the facility's gear collection. Users gain access to Focusrite and Dalcon console emulations paired with API 550A equalization and Focusrite 110 filtering.
