Myanmar's central bank distributed more than $2.4 million to edible oil importers and over $547,900 to fuel oil importers on Wednesday, Oct. 23, while adding 900,000 yuan to the market. The Central Bank of Myanmar had injected more than $2.66 million into the edible oil sector on Tuesday and announced a $30 million allocation for fuel oil imports on Monday, Oct. 21.
The bank sold $1.7 million to edible oil companies and 753,600 yuan on Monday. Earlier transactions on Thursday, Oct. 16, totaled $893,300 for edible oil, over $396,500 for fuel oil, and 300,000 yuan.
