Myanmar seizes 207 kg of Ice, arrests 7 in Shan State drug bust
On October 4, a combined team from the Drug Enforcement Division seized 207 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (Ice) worth approximately K1.696 billion in Tachilek Township, Shan State (East). Acting on a tip-off, the team searched the residence of Sai Shan Twi around 9 a.m. and arrested him, along with six others. Authorities also confiscated four vehicles connected to the drug operation. At 10:30 a.m. the same day, the team searched the house of Sai Mon, identified as the owner of the seized narcotics, but he had already fled.
