India witnessed male unemployment rates decrease to five percent during August 2025, marking the best performance since April, according to National Statistics Office data released Monday. Urban areas saw male joblessness drop from 6.6 percent in July to 5.9 percent the following month. Rural male unemployment reached 4.5 percent in August, representing an improvement over the previous four months.
