Joe Walker Foundation organized a massive 21-kilometer safety march that grabbed attention across Kampala. The group wanted people to notice how many deaths happen because of motorcycle crashes. Hundreds of walkers joined the public event that kicked off at 8 a.m. from Sheraton Hotel. The route took everyone through busy neighborhoods like Nakawa, Ntinda, Kamwokya, and Nankulabye before returning to the starting point. Foundation members talked with motorcycle taxi drivers at their waiting spots during the entire journey.
