Bangladesh's interim government created a special investigation team to examine problems with recent national elections. Justice Shamim Hasnain will lead the five-person group that must finish its work before September 30, 2025. The Cabinet Division announced this decision Thursday and said the committee starts working right away. Officials want to study what went wrong during voting in 2014, 2018 and 2024.
