Laveda drops their new song manny with a relaxed acoustic guitar riff that meets serious electric chords. The band recorded everything on tape to create their signature grainy sound texture. Jake Brooks leads the group with his soft singing voice that holds everything together as the music builds. Other band members Ali Genevich, Aaron Scannell and Josiah Martuscello add guitar, bass and drums to complete the sound.
Brooks wrote manny during a late night session at his friend Dylan Sky's house in Eagle Rock. The two musicians shared marijuana to stay awake and keep working on demo recordings.
