TeamGroup Flexes LCD RAM and Gen5 SSDs
TeamGroup displayed numerous memory products at the Computex show. The company brought their T-Force CAMM2 gaming memory sticks with both colored lights and plain versions. Each module holds 32 GB of memory running at 8000 MT/s speeds. These early test units use SK Hynix parts inside them. The bare motherboard used for testing had an extra power connector near the memory slot. The company also showed DDR5 memory sticks that can reach 10,000 MT/s speeds. Some models have already hit 10,266 MT/s with 48 GB total capacity across two sticks. TeamGroup brought several fast storage drives to the event as well. Their fastest drives reach 14 GB/s read speeds using different controller chips. One drive model demonstrated almost 15 GB/s speeds...
RAM Modules Go Next Level With LCD Screens
V-Color showed memory sticks with small screens at a recent tech show. These new DDR5 memory parts will carry tiny LCDs that can show useful information about how the memory works. Computer fans already see screens on coolers, graphics cards, power boxes, and cases, but memory sticks never had them before. The company makes these memory parts with special chips from SK Hynix to help them run faster. V-Color also makes large memory sticks up to 256 GB that can run at 6000 MT/s speeds. Their new Manta Sky Xfinity design puts a small screen right on the metal cover, keeping the memory cool. These screens can display memory size, power use, speed, and what kind of computer chip the memory works with. Only one stick in each set will have a...

Sony will shut down its PlayStation Stars loyalty program today. The company stopped accepting new members. Current members cannot earn points after July 23, 2025. The program started in 2022 for PlayStation players to earn rewards through gaming activities. Members collected digital items related to PlayStation history as they played games. Many players used the system to earn store credit worth $5 or $25. Sony later changed how it gave out points when players found ways to maximize their earnings. Nvidia China Dreams Crash as Market Share Halves
NVIDIA has lost almost half its share in the Chinese AI market because of US rules that limit chip sales. The company once held 95 percent of this market, but that number has fallen to just 50 percent since export limits began. These limits cost NVIDIA access to what its CEO calls a $50 billion market. Chinese tech firm Huawei grabbed the other half of the market with its Ascend AI chips. Major Chinese companies like Tencent, Baidu, and ByteDance have started using these home-grown chips instead. NVIDIA sells many AI chips, but cannot ship its best models to China anymore. The US government worries these powerful chips might harm national security if used wrongly. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang warned that America could lose its lead in AI...

Samsung Galaxy G Fold Might Cost You 3500
Samsung plans to make a phone that folds twice, called the Galaxy G Fold. The new device might cost between $3,000 and $3,500 because it uses complex parts and will be made in small numbers. When it arrives later this year, Samsung will sell this phone only in South Korea and China. The screen will measure nearly 10 inches when completely open. Users can bend this phone in different ways depending on what they need to do. Samsung wants to release this special device separately from its other folding phones. The company chose South Korea because that's where Samsung started, and China because it's the biggest phone market in the world. The high price comes partly because Samsung can't make many of these phones at first. Even though...

Trump Tariffs Tank iPhone Shipments 72 Percent
Apple faces major problems bringing iPhones from China to America because of new tariffs. Chinese iPhone shipments fell 72 percent last month, earning just under $700 million. This drop outpaced the general 21 percent decrease in all Chinese goods entering the United States. The Trump administration created these barriers to encourage companies to make products on American soil. China remains the main producer of iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other Apple devices. The company struggles to walk away from Chinese manufacturing expertise despite growing challenges. Trump placed taxes as high as 145 percent on goods from China, disrupting the entire supply network. Apple responded with increased production in India, where import fees are lower...
