Farmers across Kenya are making more money thanks to the government's helpful changes over the past two years.
The government helped farmers grow better crops like coffee, tea, milk, sugar, and corn. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki said President William Ruto worked hard to make these good changes happen.
Tea farmers earned more money each year. In 2022, they earned 161 billion shillings, 81 billion shillings in 2023, and 210 billion shillings in 2024. Deputy President Kindiki explained this happened because farmers received cheaper fertilizer. The government also made new rules to protect farmers from people who tried to steal their money.
