Martha Karua has invited former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to join her new party. The People's Liberation Party (PLP) is a rebranded version of Narc Kenya. Karua appealed during Gachagua's visit to Kirinyaga on Saturday.

HARARE, Zimbabwe - Zanu-PF Politburo member and Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi said President Emmerson Mnangagwa does not want to change Zimbabwe's Constitution to stay in power past 2028.
Ziyambi told Zanu-PF Mashonaland West members that calls to let Mnangagwa serve beyond his second term come from the party, not the president.

20 People from Zimbabwe Died in South Africa Mine.
The Zimbabwe government said 20 people from Zimbabwe died in an old gold mine in South Africa. They were some of about 87 total people who died there.
The people who died were illegal miners. They stayed in the Stilfontein mine for weeks with little food and water.
Zimbabwe sent officials to South Africa last week. They are working to find out details about the miners who died and lived. Soon, they will contact the families of those who died.
