Acting President Dr Constantino Chiwenga is at St Canisius Parish in Marlborough. He will officiate the Catholic Youth Business and Innovation Hub Exhibition and Fundraising Dinner.
During his visit, Dr Chiwenga toured various stands. He wanted to learn about the youth's business ventures and explore ways to help them contribute more to the economy.
His wife, Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga, joined him. Cde Charles Tavengwa, the Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Province, was also there. Other senior Government officials also came along.

The Sudanese army said it broke a siege by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on its command center in Khartoum on Friday. The army called this a major victory in the capital city. The two sides have been at war for nearly two years.

BLANTYRE, Malawi—Nacala Logistics Malawi has announced that it exceeded its 2023 record for miscellaneous cargo transportation in 2024. The company attributes this achievement to the resumption of the Kanengo-Mchinji railway line.

Man Arrested for Possession of Counterfeit Money in Karonga.
KARONGA, Malawi—Karonga Police have arrested a 37-year-old man named Sute Mwenefumbo. He is accused of possessing K30,000 in counterfeit banknotes while staying at a motel in the district.
According to Karonga Police Public Relations Officer Constable Margret Msiska, the suspect paid for a K6,000 room with two K5,000 notes. He received change. The receptionist became suspicious of the notes and alerted the police.
