"Divisi" in Shona means mushonga (medicine or juju) that is used to multiply the production of whatever venture a person is into. It can also be used to slow down the sales of a rival.

Note: most people assume 'divisi' is only particularly used in farming i.e. to increase crop production but in reality, this isn't true at all as explained above.

Even self-anointed prophets of today can use divisi to make church members from a rival Gospel-Of-Prosperity business come to their Ministry regularly, of course, to earn more money from tithes.

The controversial part of 'divisi' is that some people (but not all) acquire it through illegal means such as incestuous acts and even premeditated murder because that's just part of the ritual.
