"Mari haipedze hurombe" is a ChiShona saying which means even though a person can accumulate great wealth this doesn't always ensure his vices and shortcomings are all taken care of either.

For example, there are certain filthy rich celebrities, athletes, and socialites who have access to a lavish lifestyle anyone could dream of. But for some reason, they always seem to get caught up in stupid stuff.

It sort of becomes a habit when you look at it. One would think with all that money they would perhaps employ uber-smart advisors or even a bespoke think-tank to help them make better decisions.

But bloody duh! That is far from the case.
