Production has wrapped on the initial filming phase for the Malayalam action feature Athiradi, with the second round of shooting set to start on November 14, according to industry insiders. The project unites actors Basil Joseph, Tovino Thomas and Vineeth Sreenivasan for their first collaboration. Zarin Shihab from Rekhachithram will join the ensemble cast.
First-time director Arun Anirudhan helms the picture, which promises a mass entertainment experience based on promotional materials.
