4 Non Blondes drop surprise gig, fans lose it

4 Non Blondes showed up at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas without telling anyone and played their 1993 hit for the crowd at Kia Forum in California. Linda Perry let the audience handle the chorus while the band prepped for their sold-out West Hollywood shows happening right after. The group formed back in 1989 but only stuck around until 1994, and they dropped just one studio album during that run.

The alt-rock crew announced they're heading back to the studio for a new record that mixes fresh tracks with reworked old material, and it might drop sometime early next year. Their surprise appearance makes sense considering they've got multiple gigs lined up nearby, and the band originally started in San Francisco before splitting up decades ago.
