A Plus is bringing back the Blue Protocol MMO nobody played

Publisher A Plus and developer Shanghai Bokura Network Technology confirmed Blue Protocol Star Resonance will launch across PC, iOS, and Android platforms during October 2025. Mobile users can begin pre-registration through the official website starting today. PC players gain immediate access to a closed beta test via Steam. Additional beta codes will become available based on server capacity requirements. The company plans to showcase a playable demonstration at Anime NYC for convention attendees.

This release represents a revival of the MMORPG franchise following the original Blue Protocol's troubled history. The initial version debuted in Japan during 2023 but ceased operations after one year due to inadequate player engagement. Publishers canceled the international release before shuttering the Japanese servers this past January. Star Resonance offers fans another opportunity to experience the anime-styled multiplayer world that previously failed to sustain its audience numbers.
