Action Aid International gave money to farmers across Upper Nuimi. The organization handed out over one million dalasis to help people grow crops. Sixty small farmers received cash support for the 2025 growing season. The money helps them buy groundnut seeds and farming equipment. Twenty-one groundnut farmers each took home 35,000 dalasis from the program. Three people who fish received 25,000 dalasis to buy better gear. Fifteen other farmers got 35,000 dalasis to purchase seeders and donkeys. The farmers come from villages around Albreda, Jimbana, and Kerr Cherno areas. Officials held the ceremony at the Juffureh office last Saturday.
